Night, by Elie Wiesel, should not be read by high school students.?

In order to prevent the Holocaust from ever happening again, and to remember those who died in the Holocaust, it is IMPERATIVE it is read. I read it in 8th grade as part of my Holocaust unit, and the feelings should come back because it will prevent another one. The violence helps us remember the crimes committed by the Nazis. It should absolutely be read.
