Can anyone name ONE war the Americans have started and WON?

We talking full on war or conflicts? Panama was won. Can't remember if we started Grenada really, and it wasn't just us fighting but that was won. We really haven't been in declared wars, mainly conflicts. I do hate when Americans say the WW2 was won by just us, it was a joint effort, and we needed everyone. You can get technical with Vietnam, being as we won most enemy confrontations, but the whole politics thing and sloppy planning. Overall it was a loss, but we won in the arms portion.
