Is chest tightness one of the symptoms of bronchitis?

I started to have bronchitis about two weeks ago along with a cold while I was on my last day of vacation. When I got home I started wheezing (It's been 10 years since I had asthma symptoms living in another state). I've been much better now. The cold is gone with some cough here and there and I haven't been wheezing for the past week. I've been taking Zithromax and promethezine Dm lately and I've been coughing less, but I still feel a tight heavy feeling in my chest (but no wheezing). Is this part of bronchitis? What is causing it? Any good advice is well appreciated, thanks!
