Should I buy the game Mafia 2 for X box 360?

I love the game The Godfather 1 & 2 and I noticed in the store that theres a game called Mafia and that the second installment is coming out in 2010 i believe. Should I buy the first one or wait for the second? Also are they anything like the Godfather games and what are your opinions on them. Thanks in advance.
