Need help getting electric guitar for begineers?

If your total cost limit is $300, I recommend getting the strat pack. The other guitar is $229, and if you bought an amp separately, you would end up spending over $400 total. The guitars are very similar themselves. So if you have the $300 ceiling, the pack is probably the way to go (amps are generally pretty expensive!)
