Netherland Dwarfs?

Okay, so if you saw my last question about the bunnies in my yard, you'll know that I had a bunny experience. That kind of gave me a love for bunnies. Anyway, my parents said that I could get a bunny when I get back from California. I chose a male, Netherland Dwarf. His hutch is going to have to be outside becauce we have a dog that would eat the bunny for a snack. Do you have any suggetions?
