They were obsessed with the media- obviously because they thought it would bring their little girl back. I felt they were right to sue the papers as the headlines were ridiculous at times. Yet however hard I try to be fair- I feel they took the media spin a bit too far and actually hindered the detective work- not deliberately - but practically. It's still too much about how they feel rather than -where is that poor little girl?
