I liked elyon definition also..but to answer the other part of your question. What does it mean for the meek to inherit the earth? Well...latter day saints believe that after the 1000 year reign and final judgment is over...the earth will be redeemed back to a perfect world..or a celestial world..to become the highest heaven. So according to this belief all the meek will forever have this earth as their home planet.
